A young lady named Leslie Alvarez Roman, it’s estactic at the moment as she would
be attending Yale University on a full ride scholarship to study Ethics, Politics, and
Economics!

Leslie narrated briefly how she has been dreaming of this exact moment since she was a little girl and can’t believe it finally came true.

Sharing the exciting news with friends on LinkedIn, she wrote:

It’s official 🐶💙!

I’m ecstatic to announce that I will be attending Yale University on a full ride scholarship to study Ethics, Politics, and Economics!

First and foremost, I’d like to express my sincerest appreciation to my teachers at Community Charter School of Cambridge, mentors, friends, family, and all of those whose believed in me for their unwavering support throughout this challenging but rewarding process. And to my parents, for overcoming their toughest obstacles so I could celebrate special moments like this.

I’ve been dreaming of this exact moment since I was a little girl, and I can’t believe it’s finally come true. As a first-generation Latina, I’m truly honored to have been given the opportunity to pave the way for students like me in years to come.

I’m so grateful to be joining the class of 2026 at Yale University in the fall. Go Bulldogs!!!
