šŸ„³Announcement time!šŸ„³

I am extremely excited to share that I’m joining the faculty of @Columbia University as an Assistant Professor of Structural Geology in the Dept. of Earth & Env. Sciences, starting July 2022.

My family & I will be moving to NY and we can’t wait to start our new life chapter.

My group will be studying the processes of crustal deformation at all scales in areas of incipient plate boundaries and natural/anthropogenically-induced intraplate earthquakes.

Huge thanks to all my mentors, past advisors, mentees, colleagues and collaborators who have become friends, and most especially my beautiful family. Without your support, encouragement, and inspiration, I would not have been able to achieve this long-standing dream of mine.

Also, big thanks to my colleagues at bp who made my ~2 years stint in the energy industry a fulfilling experience.

I hope I can inspire the next generation of geoscientists in my new career journey!
