Sharing the news on LinkedIn, she wrote:

I got employed in the very week I was graduating, never expected it seeing the employment situation in my country.I call it grace. I have a bachelor’s degree in Microbiology but I work as a Medical Laboratory Technician 👩‍🔬in all laboratory departments, that meant lots of learning and catching up.

This was at the beginning of the 3rd SARS COV 2 19 wave. It was not pretty. Very exhausting. When I begun I could barely draw blood from patients but with resilience I learnt the art of Phlebotomy. Also performing PCR testing was new. I chose to challenge my self with every task and learn as much as possible. The laboratory is such a beautiful place and being part of the solution through diagnostics has given me so much satisfaction.

LinkedIn has also been a platform that I have kept by my side seeing what other professionals are doing learning more.
Am very thankful to my employers who saw potential in a fresh graduate. This is only the beginning of a little girls dream of being the best scientist for my country, with God by my side💯
Here’s to more learning and becoming more relevant📌📌.
