Nigerian Man Trains Inmates At The Ikoyi Prison On How To Get Into Tech From London
CEO at Utiva Tech Eyitayo has shared photos of inmates at ikoyi prison that he took his time to train, on how to get into Tech and this was achieved right from London.
Sharing the photos on LinkedIn, he captioned it;
Yesterday, I trained some Inmates at the Ikoyi Prison on how to get into #Tech. I did this right from London. Tech made it happen.
For there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its tender shoots will not fail.
I shared how these folks can pick up tech skills and some practical ways to build a life in the tech space.
Technology does not discriminate.
At first, I could not see the vision but the doggedness of my brother and friend, Adewale Onagbesan. He is the visionary and the brain behind this project.
Adewale has also gone ahead to lead how more than 500 of these inmates will write their school-leaving examinations and kickstart a special skill development program for them.
I got the gist that my young brother, Bright Sekoni has started funding this project too.
Bless you guys for what you do for the ecosystem.
