Man Shares His Exciting Working Experience At UK, Says Relocating To The UK Was An Interesting Decision

A man named Chukwudi Umeokwonna has shared how he relocated to the UK and his experiences while working there.

Sharing on his LinkedIn platform, he wrote:

Relocating to the UK was an interesting decision I took last year November when I and my wife welcomed our twin babies (a boy and girl) in England precisely in August, 2021.

At first, as a professional without UK work experience, it seemed to be a challenge when I had interview chats with recruiters in the UK even when my skills and experience match the job requirements. Greater percentage of the recruiters prefer candidates with UK work experience. I persevered and remained optimistic.

Osler Diagnostics offered me the first job opportunity but on contract basis. it was a big relieve indeed considering the fact that it is an entirely new field to me.

While working with brilliant process and production talents in Osler, I was welcomed and made to adapt quickly with unalloyed team spirit. I am glad to know that I was able to add values and contributed significantly towards improving the process of her in-vitro medical device manufacturing within the short period of my contract.

As you can see on the picture below are farewell gifts from my lovely process and production team. I am here to say a very big “THANK YOU” to the management of the Osler especially my team lead, Billy Brooks for believing in me and giving me the enabling environment to contribute immensely to this distinguished project “Origin”.

I will forever value this gesture.
