A young lady named Chisom C. Nwokwu has shared how she got a job at Microsoft and why she delayed announcing the good news.

She went further to narrate how she admired thousands of people on LinkedIn who kept sharing their testimonies on how they landed jobs at software companies.

Chisom admired and wanted to be like them, and guess what?

Her dreams came to pass.

Sharing her testimony on LinkedIn. She captioned it:

Wow, I finally got to share this with my LinkedIn family.

It’s been 3 months and 10 days since I started my role as a Software Engineer (New Graduate) at Microsoft.

Several months back while actively job searching scrolling through LinkedIn, I see posts of thousands of people joining top software companies, and I say to myself; would this ever be me?
Would I ever be in a position to make such a huge announcement?

If you would agree with me, studying for technical interviews isn’t a walk in the park, most especially the process that leads up to it, from gaining attention from recruiters, seeking referrals, applying for the job and basically trying to be your best self DAILY.

26th January, 2021; all that hard work paid off, times where I choose to give up, everything started making sense.
Delaying this post was all from a state of surprise, emotion and just basically trying to believe that I actually made it to my dream company.
