Man Celebrates His Wife Who Resumed Her First Medical Job Just 15 Months After Arriving UK
A man named Emmanuel Oni is a proud husband at the moment.
Emmanuel’s wife just landed a job barely 15 months of arriving the U.K as an IMG doctor.
He recounted the numerous times she applied for jobs and took out time to commend her efforts, goals and achievement in year 2021.
Sharing the post on LinkedIn, he wrote;
A very personal news
While this is quite a personal post, but I thought I would take a moment to celebrate my wife’s achievement as she is naturally not one to shout about her accomplishments.
Over the past year, she has taught me a lot of personal lessons about will, focus and tenacity, and how far determination and dedication can take one.
She smashed the following in just one year (2021)
✅ Being pregnant and having our first child
✅ Aced two medical exams to gain GMC Licence and registration to practice
✅ Applied for several medical jobs and did multiple interviews with three offers
✅Resumed her first medical job just under 15months of arriving to the UK as an IMG doctor.
What makes all the above even more commendable is the fact that she did it all in a pandemic year, and with so much calm and ease.
