Young Man Shares His 6 Months Internship Experience At Schlumberger, Says The Opportunity Gave Him Practical Knowledge Of The Energy Industry

A young man named Peace Bello has shared the experience he gathered while interning at Schlumberger for 6 months.

Peace says the opportunity gave him a practical knowledge of the energy industry.

Sharing his story on LinkedIn, he wrote:

My 6 months internship experience at Schlumberger is one that can’t be forgotten anytime soon.

This was one of the opportunities which gave me a practical knowledge of the energy industry.

My profound appreciation goes to the HR team; Roselyn Affah-John and Ihuaku Ugwu for the smooth onboarding process.

I would also like to appreciate my Manager, Lawrence Oboh, my supervisors Olutayo oso , Ogbonna Irondi for the trainings, and everyone who helped me out during my internship.

Glad to have gained skills in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Reservoir Performance Stimulation, Technology Lifecycle Management, Well Construction Fluid while concluding with a project presentation.

Having undergone an intense Hands-on training, I became confident handling various tools.

Working with amazing people while learning was highly instrumental to my successful internship completion as I developed my soft skills.

Lots of lessons learnt during the last 6 months which has developed me personally as an Individual.

Moving forward, I will be exploring #lowcarbon solutions for the energy industry, as we look forward to achieving #netzero by 2050, coupled with implementing digital solutions across the energy industry in coming years by God’s grace.
