“From Sagamu, Nigeria To Canada”- Man Celebrates His Sister Who Finally Suceeded As Her Flight Was Cancelled Due To Omicron After She Got An Approved Study Permit Visa
A man named Oluwaseyi Adeboye is so excited at the moment as his sister just landed in Canada after several challenges she encountered starting from when she applied for Canada’s study permit and there was no response for 4 months.
They started writing the immigration to know what was causing the delay. She eventually got an approval November 2021. She was set for travel but Omicron happened.
Oluwaseyi Adeboye took time to outline all the challenges she encountered on his LinkedIn platform. Sharing photos of his sister who has arrived Canada already, he captioned it;
From Sagamu, Nigeria 🇳🇬 to Canada 🇨🇦
Look who just arrived Canada, my very own younger sister, Aderonke.
- Applied for admission in March 2021. Got an offer in April.
- Applied for Nigerian passport in April and was told there was no paper. She had to wait more than a month. Passport came in at the end of June 2021.
- Applied for Canada study permit on July 1, 2021 and no response for 4 months. She had to defer admission to January
- We started writing Canada immigration to know what’s causing the delay.
- Atlas, by November, 2021 study permit was approved. Glory to God.
- Booked flight for December 2021 but omicron happened. Canada placed Nigeria on red list. Nigeria in return placed Canada 🇨🇦 on red list. Hope was lost.
- Cancelled flight due to omicron but Air France refused to refund her flight money. I wouldn’t recommend this airline.
- Finally, Nigeria was removed from red list and she arrived her dream country on January 30, 2022.
Help me wish my sister well, 2021 was long but she made it.
Congratulations Aderonke! Now I have a blood family in Canada 🇨🇦!
