The saying “one never really knows where the shoe punches until one actually fits his foot In it” is one that inspires me to share this short story with such great significance.

The young man whose picture is attached to this post -ONYEDIKA got a partial scholarship for his Masters to carry out studies on research on Permanent Cure of Diabetes from the University of Chester, London in the United Kingdom.

It however turned out so difficult and uneasy for him to fulfill his financial part of the process which included his tuition fee, flight ticket and the likes, this drove to him to social media to solicit for funds and seek intervention from well meaning Nigerians.

Being from my dear state Ebonyi, his determination made him find a way to get to me during one of our foundations numerous palliative interventions and online giveaways during the pandemic period which he benefited from.

Given the chance, he narrated his ordeal and my dear wife and I yielded to invest in Onyedika by making necessary financial provisions even after so much constraints from helping others during that period.

Not too long ago, he paid us a visit and hit us with the great news that he finished his programme in excellence of Distinction (First Class), and that also he was awarded a full scholarship by the University of Missouri for his PhD.

We as a foundation and humanitarian support system rarely announce all we do to support humanity, but this is an inspirational exception to motivate and push people to work on their talents and stay focused on their dreams and aspirations as they could be the next ‘Onyedika’ out there.

We are super elated Onyedika has gone this far and will influence positive change in the world and we cheerfully congratulate him for his zeal to excel and also contribute to making lives better through his intellectual capacity. Congratulations Onyedika!.
