Made-in-Nigeria wears go global from the expanded Funtua Textile Mill in Katsina.

Federal Government is opening a new garment industrial park in Katsina as part of the N120bn funding from CBN to revive the cotton industry in Nigeria and cut imports/smuggling in the near future.
Over 200 mills from the 70s shut their factories when there were disincentives for farmers to produce cotton, and lack of electricity to run the plants .

The AKK gas project will resuscitate some of the moribund plants.
