Lady Who Marvelled At How Huge Her Dreams Were As A Young Girl, Fulfills It, Gets Commonwealth Scholarship In U.K

A lady named Eniola Adurosakin has been documenting her dreams right from when she was a little girl, she sometimes reads them and laughs at herself because of how huge those dreams were.

Today she has fulfilled one of those dreams as she got a Commonwealth Scholarship to school in the U.K.

Sharing the exciting news in LinkedIn, she wrote;

As a young child, i enjoyed my own company a lot. I am that kind of girl who would prefer to stay at home to sleep than hang out with friends. While at this, i fell in love with something called journaling.

At every point in time while i was alone with my thoughts, i found myself dreaming and imagining several things. I would laugh at myself sometimes because of how huge some of those dreams were but i took time to journal, i made sure everything was documented.

Keeping in mind those things i had written down were my constant motivation on days when the chips were down. No one saw what i wrote so i wasn’t trying to play by a script but i couldn’t afford to let myself down.

The joy of journaling for me comes on those days when i pick up the journal with gratitude in my heart, a pen in my hand to tick off one of those goals because they had come to fulfillment. On days like that, those words are not just mere writings but my reality.

On this day two months ago, i began a new journey as a commonwealth scholar. I ticked off another goal with so much gratitude to God almighty the one who listened to the yearnings of my heart, read my journals when no one else could gain access to it and made everything work together to see what was once a dream become a reality.

I’m grateful to everyone who was supportive and instrumental to making this possible. My appreciation further goes to my mentors John Adedapo Ojo and Lateef Agbaje who believed in my potentials and were willing to recommend me always. To Adeola Alle whose youtube videos gave answers to most of my questions, thank you.

To the commonwealth commission in the UK, i am indeed grateful for this opportunity.

Fam, i’m a testimony that your dreams are valid. Write them down, make it plain, run with it and see God bring you the victory.
