Man Who Studied A Non- Professional Course In Nigeria Gets Scholarship In Germany, Says If You’re Not Relevant Here, You’re Relevant There
A man named Emeka Ekejiuba has narrated briefly how he was so worried that he studied a non- professional course (Zoology) in Nigeria and he might never get an employment with that particular course.
The good news is that he was awarded a scholarship in Germany with the same course.
He went on to share a short motivational post saying, “If you are not relevant here, you are relevant there”.
Sharing the exciting news on his LinkedIn platform, he captioned it:
Having studied one of the so-called non-professional courses in Nigeria, (Zoology/Entomology), I was often faced with the question: what will you do with this course? who will employ you? why studying insects?
I never allowed these negative questions and/or statements to discourage me. I remained determined, focused in getting the best out of what I was doing. I created a niche for myself and decided to be an Entomologist with a difference!
To sum it all up, the so called unprofessional course got me a fully funded scholarship by DAAD for my masters in Germany, with opportunity of enjoying a world-class education in a top notch academic environment and the opportunity of interning in big Bio-control companies in Germany!!
I became relevant!!!
If you are not relevant #here, you are relevant #there.
