White Lady Who Adopted A Nigerian Photographer Celebrates Him As He Graduates From Georgia State University, Starts New Job

A kind hearted white Lady named
Constance Barkley-Lewis has shared an amazing story on how she changed the life of a Nigerian Photographer whom she adopted as her son.

The young man graduated from Georgia State University and he studied computer science. She took time to analyse how he had been making impact in people’s life

She is also celebrating him because he just got a job.

Sharing the story on her LinkedIn platform, she wrote:

Yesterday, my (god)son Kareem Bishi graduated from Georgia State University with a 4.0+ GPA in Computer Science while working full time.

I met him when he was working as a professional photographer and was lucky to have him adopt me as his mother. For 10 years he has been my son, friend, mentor.

He arrived from Nigeria, taught himself html in 48 hours so he could support himself creating websites for professors. He has made many sacrifices for his education yet is always ready to help others. In his AI class this semester, he realized his classmates were struggling so he hosted study sessions and created a three hour review for the final exam – 50% of his classmates showed up.

His accomplishments are large enough on their own, but as a black man from another country to achieve at this level despite economic and social constraints and obstacles deserves a standing ovation.

He starts working with Atlassian in January, so watch the stock price rise.
