Hello LinkedIn Family, this is my first personal post on this platform and I hope it’ll be inspiring.
My undergraduate journey began in FUTO (Federal University of Technology Owerri) to study Materials and Metallurgical Engineering with the mindset of graduating with a First class.. Little did I know the road won’t be smooth as expected with every session posing a new challenge including ASUU strikes and COVID-19 pandemic.
I started with a 3.0/5.0 GP in my year 1 first semester and ended with a 5.0/5.0 GP in my year 5 second semester as I learned during the journey that challenges are bound to happen and that I could either let it drag me down or take advantage of it.
The biggest challenge of all was the period I got involved in a road traffic accident in which I had a femoral fracture and I underwent a major surgery using intermedullar pin implant in my year 3.
I’m thankful to God for having come this far. I graduated with a CGPA of 4.16/5.0 ( a practical scenario of ‘always aim very high so that when you fall, you don’t hit rock bottom’) on 4th December, 2021 and as the 4th best in the department not by my might alone but by his grace and mercy upon my life. I’m also thankful to my parents and friends for their love and support.. cheers to more win..
