The name LilyLo is influenced by my love for Lily flowers and my daughter. She is my forever beautiful Lily flower.

LilyLo is a Natural Hair and Beauty Shop where a brown skin woman is celebrated every day. Through love, passion, high ethical standards, quality products and excellent customer service, we aim to promote the beauty of brown skin and natural hair care of the African child. We want to appreciate, embrace, encourage and celebrate natural beauty.

Our products are made from natural, organic oils and herbs. They are inspired by my daughter’s beautiful sensitive skin and my passion for natural oils to enhance natural beauty and healthy skin. I started making natural hair products in 2017 because I did not want to use chemicals on her natural hair. I personally have been using natural body oils from when I was a teenager.

Due to the pandemic and being unemployed, in May 2020 I decided to make more products and send to friends and family members. The positive response my products received propelled me to make more and sell. LilyLo hair products were officially launched in October 2020.

Our herbal infused oils and butters do not only enhance beauty but maintain overall health for hair, scalp and skin. LilyLo Hair Products repair damaged hair and hairline and ensure that our magnificent thick curls are manageable.

We source all our raw materials locally (SA) and throughout the African continent. We want to truly embrace our Africanism.
