Man Who Had 2.94 GPA His 3rd Year, Graduates With 1st Class In Chemical Engineering, Shares Motivation
Handsome young man named Samuel Akinjole has shared his testimony to motivate young people on LinkedIn.
While Celebrating his new status as he made 1st class in engineering, he wrote;
“Relentless! A watchword I came to embrace through my five-year journey in Unilag. And now, after about two years, I’m glad to be officially graduating with a First Class Honours in Chemical Engineering.
Just to motivate someone out there. I remember vividly having an unimaginable 2.94 GPA in the dreaded 300l second semester. This placed a dent on my cgpa as I remember the feeling of doubt, and making cgpa analysis of how I might or might not make first class.
However, I chose to! With determination, grit, perseverance, and God’s grace, leading to straight A’s for consecutive semesters and eventually achieving my goal.
It’s not unusual to face setbacks in life, but it’s how you handle it that counts. With hardwork, tenacity, and a refusal to accept mediocrity, you can achieve whatever you set out to do”.
