Corps Member Renovates Student Hostel In Kaduna, Fixes Their Dirty Toilets

  • A young lady, Evelyn Ikogba, has made a student hostel more habitable as she renovated big large rooms
  • Evelyn also made sure their decrepit toilets and bathrooms were fixed to improve general hygiene in the hostel
  • Many people have praised her for demonstrating the true meaning of selfless service to humanity.

A young Nigerian lady, Evelyn Ikogba, has used her one-year compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme to touch lives in Kaduna state.

A Twitter user, Solomon Aye Bala, who posted about what Evelyn did said that though the lady was posted to his organisation, she used the lockdown period to renovate a student hostel that has four rooms and eight toilets and bathrooms.

The project which she did as part of her Community Development Service was hailed by many since photos of her work surfaced on the bird app.

Snaps of the renovation show how much effort must have gone into it as the building and rooms look newly painted and clean.

“Awesome work she did. At a time when tribal hate persist. A true ambassador! I hope they gave her something good to encourage future Corpers!”
