The BBNaija 2020 Lockdown show finally came to an end on September 27, and it no doubt marked the start of great things for the housemates particularly the finalists.

One of the BBNaija 2020 runner-ups, Dorathy Bachor, was recently recognised by the governor of her state, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

The Delta state governor through his chief press secretary, Mr Olisa Ifeajika, explained that the government was proud of Dorathy and her conduct in the BBNaija house.

The governor reportedly said that Dorathy displayed great leadership traits that made her stand out as a model for young people in Delta state.

Explaining further, the governor said that it was no surprise that the 24-year-old emerged as a finalist on the reality show out of 20 housemates. According to him, she did not bring any embarrassment to the state.

Excerpts from the statement read:

“As a state we are very delighted that our daughter, Dorathy Bachor, emerged the Runner Up in the just-concluded BBNaija competition.
“We are glad that she related very well with the house mates and survived all the evictions and avoided controversies in the house.
“She has portrayed the Delta character of being well behaved and a worthy ambassador of the state.”

The governor then concluded by wishing Dorathy well in all her endeavours and advised that she continues to portray herself responsibly.
