Man Recounts Wife’s Pregnancy Journey As They Mark Their Son’s 10th Birthday

While a pregnancy journey is generally described as a beautiful journey, it isn’t always so for some people. A man identified as Charles the 1st (@9jaBloke), recently marked his son’s 10th birthday with an inspiring story of how he came to be.

Charles in a series of tweet, recounted how after they welcomed their first child, Jasmine, it took them another 4 years to welcome their second child, Jason. And those 4 years were some of the most difficult time for them.

According to his story, his wife suffered an ectopic pregnancy which the doctors said would make taking it very difficult for her. However, they didn’t give up on trying for another baby.

However, the days ran into months and then years without them conceiving and Charles says this took a toll on his wife who felt sad about her inability to take in.

She began to try out fertility medications but they didn’t work.

Hope came for them when a female guest preacher told her she was going to take in a year from that day.

“It was in the midst of all these that she attended a midweek service in church anchored by a female guest preacher. During the intercessory prayers, she was told that a year thence, she will be carrying a child. We didn’t know this woman from Adam!”

Charles revealed that it came to pass and they were filled with joy and gratitude to God.

Although the pregnancy wasn’t without its own problems, she successfully gave birth to their son, Jason.

Charles shared the story as he celebrated his son’e 10th birthday.
