Pregnant 28 Years Old Ghanaian NHS Nurse Dies of Covid19 In Luton But Baby Survives

Mary Agyapong has lost her life in a battle with the COVID 19 novel Coronavirus. The pregnant nurse, worked into the late period of her pregnancy but was diagnosed for the COVID-19 virus in early April.

She was admitted at the hospital but unfortunately lost her life few days after admission for coronavirus. The quick thinking doctors had earlier delivered her baby through a Cesarean section when they noticed her condition was deteriorating and the baby is currently doing very well and healthy.

28 years old Mary Agyapong has been working at Luton University Hospital for 5 years as a nurse and was well loved by her team members.
Mary Agyapong’s colleagues have set up a gofundme account for the late Nurse and have already raised over £60,000 for the deceased as at the time of filling this report.

Mary Agyapong will be deeply missed along with the 46 other NHS staff that have died from the coronavirus.
