She says she is very positive when it comes to Nigeria, but that side of her is dying by the day.
A Nigerian lady who appears to be fed up with the situation of things in Nigeria has said her belief in the country is gradually dying.
The lady identified as Rosemary Egbo took to her LinkedIn page to disclose that she is happy to learn that a lot of hardworking people she knows are travelling out of the country.
Egbo, who said her friend also recently travelled to Australia, said she would have been a little sad that these people are left the shores of the country, but she is happy for them. Home is where the heart is.
She said: “But it was unlike me. Some months ago, I would have been a little sad that a lot of hardworking people I know are running to other nations for refuge, but I’m just happy for them. “When it comes to #Nigeria, I’m very positive, but I see that side of it dying by the day.
This is a place where you have to put in more than your best to enjoy the basic needs of life.” Egbo lamented the federal government’s borrowing habit, saying such borrowing does not have positive impact in the people’s lives. She said: “The federal government borrows money every now & then, but we hardly see any positive impact from the borrowing. Only our politicians are happy with the state of the nation. “They hardly spend their loot here but take their jollification to other nations. Youth who work hard to establish something for themselves are frustrated by the #government.
“When you think life is getting better, a trigger- happy policeman might open fire on you. Even those earning big are relocating their families to #Canada.”
