Gaining admission into a tertiary institution in Nigeria can be daunting.

Not many people were lucky to have been admitted after their first trial. Many Nigerian youths tried multiple times before they eventually got the opportunity to be called undergraduates. And when they finally find themselves in the four walls of a university and partaking in its activities, they make sure to tell anyone who cares to listen about their journey.

This is the story of a Twitter user simply identified as Willy Ambitious Azeez who is glad to finally start the process of fulfilling his dreams. Taking to the popular micro-blogging platform, the happy undergraduate said that he gained admission into the University of Ilorin eight years after secondary school.

According to the excited student, he wrote WAEC three times, and JAMB, five times. Congratulating himself on the occasion of his matriculation, Azeez urged his followers not to give up on their dreams. The young man also shared beautiful photos from his matriculation ceremony.
