The greatest debtor was reportedly owing the hospital close to GHC 8000. The profound gesture by the popular Ghanaian actress is part of her year-in-year-out charity works to give back to society.
In addition to settling the bills, the three sisters also donated some baby items worth thousands of Ghana cedis for the upkeep of their babies. Among the items were Yazz sanitary pads, diapers, baby milk and powder. The rest included Ghandour baby products, hand sanitizers, Faytex, toothbrushes from Yazz, detergents and hand wash. According to Yvonne Okoro who spoke at a short gathering after the donations, she had heard the stories of the women who were literally trapped at the hospital and was touched to do something about their situation.
