“Teebillz Didn’t Meet My Expectations,” Tacha Bares It All In Interview

Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Symply Tacha, has spoken out about her decision to terminate her contract with Teebillz’s management company.

Last week, the reality TV star announced that she and the company, Billz Vision, owned by the ex-husband of music star, Tiwa Savage, had agreed to terminate their contract.

Although the announcement was unexpected, it did not come as a surprise, with a few persons already predicting that this was going to be the outcome of the partnership.

In an interview with Punch newspaper, the social media influencer spoke on a range of topics, including the abrupt end of her partnership with Teebillz which lasted just three months.

“When one signs up with a management, one would have expectations and targets. However, it’s one thing to have expectations and it’s another thing to have the expectations turn to reality,” Tacha was quoted to have said.

“Sadly, that didn’t happen, especially after the first month of being signed to a management. The drive I had and the drive they had didn’t match.

“I drew their attention to my concerns and also tried to manage the situation by being patient and hoping for a change. But, things got worse as time went on and after three months, I decided we should mutually disengage our business relationship for the sake of my brand.”

There had been rumours that the pair had a relationship which stretched beyond professional but the 24-year-old dismissed the rumours.

“People are always saying things and it won’t stop. I don’t know what they mean by that. If their intimacy means that he’s a good manager, then, by all means, he is. If not, I’m lost,” she stated.

Already a social media star before contesting on the Big Brother ‘Pepper Dem’ reality TV show, the Port-Harcourt born became even more famous during her time on the show and afterwards, gaining over half a million followers on social media.

Her Instagram and Twitter handles were also verified and she has gone on to headline several events and welcome parties which were honours.

“Fame has robbed me of my privacy. My life now seems like it’s in the open and everyone keeps their eyes on my business round the clock.

Tacha got a car gift from her fans (Titans) to celebrate her birthday last month but there are speculations that her fans didn’t actually buy her the Benz.

“I am not aware of such rumours and I don’t even comment on rumours. As for Titans, they are my family, not my fans. I love them and I am always grateful for their continuous love,” she said.
