Gift Udoh: US honours Nigerian lady for contribution towards farming an hour

  • Udoh has passionately trained over 50 rural farmers, helping them to stay away from agro-chemicals and cut down on post-harvest losses.

The United States has honoured another Nigerian, Gift Udoh, who reflects the great potentials the country holds. Udoh is also a 2019 Mandela Washington fellow and the owner of Norinafarms, a company that focuses on the production of chemical-free vegetables in a way that ensures that there is a continuous availability of fresh vegetables. Her strong passion for healthy food inspired her vision to go into training rural farmers, youths, and women in grow vegetables devoid of harmful chemicals.

Some of her aims are to cut down on post-harvest losses farmers usually encounter and engender a world where chemicals are eliminated from vegetables farming.
