What medium do you advertise your business?

I advertise my work through social media such as, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and WhatsApp. Also I have recently launched my website.

What are the challenges you’ve encountered while running your business?

The challenges I faced at the beginning of my career was I felt I was not being taken seriously because people will like my work and request for portrait, but they will want it done for free, they do not realise how much time, effort and dedication it takes to produce a single portrait. Some client will ask for their personal portrait, but after the work is done and is time to make payment I will not hear from them again and the work just remains in my studio. With this experience in mind I do not start any work until deposit is paid.

It feels very good to be self employed. I can decide on my own. Do my business and plan my schedule and still have time for my family.

Yes for sure.
