14-Year- Old Mason Wright Is The
Youngest Owner Of A Restaurant In The Whole Of Georgia, USA

Fourteen year old Mason Wright is the founder of Mason’s Super Dogs; being fourteen has made him the youngest owner of a restaurant in the whole of Georgia.

His restaurant makes one of the best vegan hot dogs and according to PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).

Wright started his business when he was ten when he returned with his family from a trip to New york where he had to queue in long lines to wait for hotdogs which he felt didn’t taste really good.

Upon returning, he asked his parents and grandfather for a hotdog cart.

And the first of his capital came from his savings from his allowance and the extra cash he had earned while walking dogs and also washing cars around the neighbourhood.

Aside from his savings, his grandfather gave him a loan of $1,200. His older sister assisted him with the research on how to start a business.

In 2017 after he got his cart, he sold his hot dogs at barbeques, birthday parties and events but the cart could only take eight hotdogs.

He had the opportunity to pitch his business to the Morehouse College president who offered him a space with a promise to keep his grades up. He sold every wednesday and every one who had a taste of it loved it and returned for more.

In 2020, his savings from working at Morehouse had totalled $9,000 and he looked toward starting a restaurant. He informed his then 22 year old sister who used her savings and leased a property for the business which was close enough to their house.

He came to the limelight after winning the PETA award.

His story is that of belief in himself, the desire to succeed and also a desire to change the status quo.
